What We Do

Education

Communities that aren’t able to educate their young and old are unable to dream of a better future, much less achieve it.

Our education programs give more than hope. They provide an opportunity for our students to dream of a brighter future, one in which they transform as individuals, families, and eventually an entire community to become a driving force for societal betterment.

Back to School Program

Many children in impoverished communities drop out of school to work and support their families. While this additional income is vital to their families, these children may not be able to break through the poverty cycle without education.

Our program provides working children with intensive catch-up courses for four hours a day/six days a week to allow them to attempt government board exams. Students who successfully complete this step then have the option of enrolling in vocational studies to pursue a professional career path.

We understand the pressures these children have to keep working, which is why courses are only four hours per day. This permits them to keep working to support their families.

Our team also meets with their parents/guardians to ensure they understand the importance of this program and they are fully invested in their kids education.

PROGRAMS IN NEED OF YOUR SUPPORT

Basic Needs

Can you imagine going to bed worrying how you will feed your children in the morning or hearing the cries of your young ones because they are so hungry?

Health

Health interventions relieve pain, give comfort, provide autonomy – and most importantly – save lives.

Clean Water

Lack of clean water causes disease and adds an additional layer of burden and complexity for those trying hard to fight their way out of endemic poverty.
